WoW Forever Zones

About these counts

A zone is one row of the client's area table. Its subzones are listed on its page, and typing a subzone name in the map filter finds the zone that holds it. Each page carries what the client itself keys to the area: its flight masters, its named map points, its bosses when the area is an instance map, and the faction group its own mask selects. Quest text, creature names and loot are server-side in this engine and are not in these tables, so no page claims them.

13 developer rows (names marked Deprecated, DNT, DND, NYI, (OLD), [PH], test, QATest, debug, zzOLD, "Monster - ", test gear such as "90 Epic Warrior Helm", the "Durability" test set or "Monster Weapon", "OLDMonster - ", "Copy of", QA, Nax PH, [TMP], glued Test, QA or OLD such as "TestBoots", "QAEnchant" or "OLDRecruit's Belt", Test and a digit such as "MHTest02", placeholder anywhere, a name that is just "Template Item" or "Unused", or a zone the client marks unused or as a placeholder, or places on its Development Land or test maps) also differ between the builds. They are Blizzard's own scaffolding, not game content, so they are not listed here or in search; each keeps a page.

Every other zone and subzone in the WoW Forever client is unchanged against Classic Era. One the client ships a map for has its own page on the map grid; any other has no page of its own, and its address opens this list.
