2 different WoW Forever spells share the name Anvil, all new in Forever. Each is a separate effect with its own tooltip; pick the one you mean to compare it with Classic Era.

• Anvil Tier 2 #1263041 player ability added Craft an Anvil.
• Anvil Tier 2 #1307175 added Places an anvil, and provides all of the benefits of a Sharpening Wheel. Requires a Campfire nearby. May be placed over a Sharpening Wheel to replace it. All camping features share a cooldown of $1308027d.
